Loved the river views and the modern amenities like the flat-screen TV and iPod docking station. Free WiFi and parking were a bonus too.
The "zoo experience" with the hosts' labrador dogs peeking through the window was truly unforgettable. Quite the ambiance, I must say.

The stunning scenery and challenging trails provided the perfect escape into nature for our active family. It was an incredible experience to witness the majestic mountains up close and create lasting memories together.
My kids wished there were more outdoor activities catered specifically for children at Shepherds Rest.

The room at Shepherds Rest was absolutely cozy and inviting. It had a rustic charm that made me feel right at home. The comfortable bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the soft lighting created a warm and relaxing ambiance.
The only thing I didn't love was the size of the bathroom. It was a bit small, but hey, it's a minor thing in an otherwise perfect stay!

I recently stayed at Shepherds Rest in Fort William for one night and I couldn't have been happier with my stay. The property is stunning and situated in a beautiful location, providing breathtaking mountain views from the dining table. The accommodation had every home comfort you could think of, from comfortable beds to a cozy log burner. It was also dog friendly, but you would never know it as there were no dog hairs or smells. The property even provided milk and freshly laid hens eggs. I highly recommend this property for a longer stay to enjoy all its amazing features.
Do recommend this hotel.

The room at Shepherds Rest was super cozy and had a warm, homey feel to it. I loved the comfy bed and the soft pillows that made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. The two bathrooms were a bonus, with a shower and a bath to choose from. It felt like a little piece of heaven after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the color scheme in the room. But hey, that's just me.
